Newcomer Du Qibei sets out with new system 213. His very first career assignment draws the worst possible lot: play the villain in a xianxia novel.

Bad luck or not, he still has to do the job. Human and system grit their teeth and persevere, working together in earnest and diligently. It is somehow harder to get himself killed than to kill someone else.

After going through the story with countless hardships, the pair reflect on their experience and reach a consensus: this job is impossible. They should split up and divide their belongings at once.

So Du Qibei and 213 part on good terms, each heading off toward a brighter future.

Now, revived, Du Qibei stares into the darkness before him, utterly perplexed: Who collected his body?
