The Shanhai Museum

[New novel: Work Hard, Little Marquis! Everyone is welcome to come check it out] A museum exhibiting Taotie, Qilin, Fenghuang, Qiongqi, Bifang, nine-tailed foxes, and more is hiring a human curator. The human curator is responsible for everything in the museum, including but not limited to displays, safekeeping, the four types of protection, ticket sales, education, accounting, cooking, and so on. He is the only person in this museum. Yes, one person! Considering the high salary, he decides to put up with it. After all, he is a man who honors his contracts. Although the curator is only responsible for supervising the work, the HR manager is only responsible for appearing and disappearing mysteriously, and the exhibits are only responsible for eating, drinking, and causing trouble, what can he do? The pay (contract) is high, so he decides to keep putting up with it. Until the day he gets his first month's salary, when he can take no more and explodes. Damn it! Who pays wages with a bundle of chives?! To feed himself and the bunch of freeloaders in the museum, Ling Muyou rubs his chin and looks over Taotie, Qilin, Fenghuang, Qiongqi, Bifang, the nine-tailed foxes, and the rest one by one, then breaks into a delighted smile. The monsters tremble: Curator, humans are so scary QAQ Curator: These aren't chives. They're Zhuyu. Zhuyu looks like chives, but has blue flowers. Eat it and you won't go hungry. Little Yu: So can it buy me a house or a car? Curator: ...What a foolish mortal, unable to recognize a treasure. Little Yu: Heh. Reading guide: 1. The story is set in a fictional modern world and includes original settings. Please don't nitpick or read it as an allegory for reality. 2. The vibe is: running a museum, with some monster-fighting and romance on the side. 3. Updates every night at 8 p.m. I plan to update daily until the end unless something unexpected comes up. If I need to take a break, I'll leave a notice on the first line of the blurb. 4. Anti-piracy measures are in place. A 50% purchase ratio is required.
