Those Years I Was Forced to Farm in the Immortal Realm

In my past life, I had anorexia. In this life, once I cultivate a Nascent Soul, I'll never have to eat again. By all rights, this immortal world should be a wonderful new place, where everyone strives to cultivate and become a god. But Nan Xuan, reborn into the immortal world, isn't happy. He's actually a Five-Element Spiritual Root waste!!! He can draw in all five elements of spiritual energy, but can't retain even a trace. Forget cultivating a Nascent Soul, he can't even manage Qi Refining. So although he's the only son of one of the nine peak lords of the Nine Stars Immortal Sect, he lives worse than an outer-sect servant disciple. His parents despise him, his fellow disciples bully him, and in the end they send him to the sect's Spirit Valley to look after the fields. Nan Xuan lies beside the fields like a dried-out salted fish, refusing to eat the swill from the outer sect's cafeteria. It's not that he's picky. People in the immortal world are so careless about cooking. Even without anorexia, that slop could give him anorexia. Just as he considers starving to death, a cat suddenly drops from the sky and fiercely swats him into the middle of the fields. Mean Cat: Get farming. Under the mean cat's intimidation, Nan Xuan obediently draws in spiritual energy from heaven and earth to irrigate the fields. The cat pushes its luck and makes him cook, too, demanding dishes infused with pure spiritual energy from all five elements. Is it trying to kill someone with anorexia? QAQ From then on, Nan Xuan is stuck on the endless road of farming and cooking. Years later, he cultivates into... a God of Cooking. Bonus scene: Nan Xuan: I suspect the mean cat has a split personality, but I have no proof. A certain god: I can provide proof. Want it?
