The Senior Brother's High-Risk Profession

Big Brother's Version:

The person Chu Qingyan hated and looked down on most in this life was Chu Qingyan.

That isn't a grammatical mistake. It's the accusation he, as a shadow, makes against Chu Qingyan, the scoundrel who was his original self.

He put up with the bullying, the abuse, and the debauchery that disgraced their sect. But then his fiancee was stolen from him, and by his junior brother, no less!

It was just a woman. There were plenty more in the world. Yet he had to compete with his junior brother, and he still lost! In the end, his spiritual roots were destroyed, he was sentenced to dismemberment, bled dry, and left to die.

The original self is dead, but he, the shadow, is still alive. At last, it's his turn to become a real person!

He'll prove himself, live like a proper person, and rule the world!

But why does it always feel like his junior brother has ulterior motives toward him?

That blatant, predatory stare... Is he going to eat me alive?

Before becoming a person, nobody told him being the senior brother was such a dangerous job! Can he take it back?!

Junior Brother's Version:

In Mu Xianyu's blood-soaked memories, his senior brother was his only light, a god hidden in his heart whom he could never bear to show anyone.

To get a little closer to his god, he was willing to tread on blades and bleed, just to get that tiny bit closer.

And when he finally got the chance to stand beside his senior brother, at the great gathering of the immortal sects, it was that very senior brother who personally cast him down into the darkest abyss...

Initially soft, adorable, loyal, and easy to push around / later a domineering, flamboyant, wickedly clever, obsessive junior-brother top X a sharp-tongued but softhearted, narcissistic, proud, tsundere senior-brother bottom.

Both virgins, equally matched, one-on-one, happy ending.
