Carls is a high school student. He has a kind father with a strong career drive, a close friend he gets along with, and a bunch of online friends from all over the place whom he chats with about anything and everything. His life is ordinary but happy. Oh, right, Carls has one small regret: he wants his father to find him a mother. It seems to have become an obsession! Carls has superpowers, though even he doesn't know exactly what they are, because some of his abilities suddenly disappear and stop working. So far, the power he uses most reliably is teleportation, while the one most prone to malfunction but still always present is mind reading. Carls has never told anyone about his powers. He thought his life would go on like this forever, until one day he used his mind-reading ability on his father.
