Going on a Breakup Show with My Ex, Only to End Up Showering Each Other with Sweetness

The entire internet was stunned when the official cast list for the dating reality show Love's U-Turn was announced. The show had brought together several pairs of exes who had already broken up and gone their separate ways.

The last time Ling Jingtao and Yang Qingci's names trended together was three years ago, on the day they broke up, when Ling Jingtao slapped Yang Qingci hard across the face.

It was only after their breakup that everyone learned they had ever been together.

Everyone knew this pair had ended things on ugly terms. No one expected them to reunite like this.

At first: "Why did you come on this show? Do you still have feelings for each other?"

Ling Jingtao wiped his bare face, expressionless. "No. I'm short on money, and you're paying way too much."

Yang Qingci's exquisite face was icy, a beauty mark beneath the corner of her eye looking like a tear about to fall. "Of course not. I'm here for the chance to slap him back for what he did three years ago."

Later...

Viewers watched as Yang Qingci knelt halfway down, grabbed Ling Jingtao's hand, and tried to guide it toward her own face.

"If I let you slap me, can I kiss you afterward?"

Viewers: ???

You didn't say that in the first episode!
