[JX3 Fanfic] A Song Like Blazing Fire

That's right... you really did read that correctly. This is an Assassin BG story... A tribute to my three years of playing without ever getting a Black Sky, with a mountain of headcanons and a long word count. Some parts are very subtle... It breaks up the canon pairing. I bought the official art book, which also has some background information. Assassins are attracted to both men and women. He didn't just hook up with Mudan, he was with all the Saintesses. Guo Yan's hat is looking a little green. Ahem, I'm a die-hard fan of Wanhua! You know, I did a lot of research just for this Assassin? And none of it made it into the story... I even looked into Persian, since the idea was that the Assassin would give the heroine a Persian name. Only he could call her Huo Er; everyone else would use the Persian name the Assassin gave her. I also read a little about Zoroastrianism. But not a single word of it made it into the story. All that research for nothing. Daily out-of-character moments, grade-school writing, and zero logic.
