Old Stories of the Chen Family

[2026 Revised Edition]

Chen Luo had fantasized about her future countless times. Some versions were bright, others dark, but in the end they all faded into calm. That's just how life is. Most people lead ordinary, unremarkable lives.

Chen Luo had imagined her death countless times. When she was a student, it was a classroom fan suddenly falling from the ceiling; once she started working, it was a car appearing out of nowhere. But she's still alive and well now. Who really wants to die before it comes to that?

She was in pain and unwilling to accept her fate, yet she also felt she was luckier than so many others. So why suffer?

Theme: No matter what life is like, it can go on. Being alive is a kind of good fortune in itself.
