Sorry, Brother, I Should Be the Zenin Clan Head

My older brother is the next head of the Zenin family. For the past fifteen years, everyone has told me so. My brother is an amazing brother, my brother is the best brother, my brother is one of a kind. "Letting your younger sister marry for an alliance would show that you're incompetent." When someone said his little sister might get swept away by a blond guy, my brother went to a salon and dyed his hair blond. That did the trick. The elders were so busy scolding him for his improper hair color that nobody paid any attention to me. "A woman should follow behind a man." So I knew the space just behind my brother's left side had always belonged to me. I thought my brother and I would never be separated, because we shared a surname and a bed. "I'll lead the men of the Zenin family, and you can lead the women." My brother said it so casually, as if the women of the Zenin family were nothing more than dolls to give his little sister, of no consequence whatsoever. When did things change? I think it was one day, more precisely, at my sixteenth birthday banquet. I sneaked out and heard my brother speak in a tone that was both indifferent and matter-of-fact. "Even my sister can't compare to being clan head." I didn't hear what he said after that. All I knew was that my chest hurt. So, so much. By the time I came to my senses, my chain was already wrapped around my brother's neck. "If being clan head matters more to you than I do, then I'll just become clan head." I was confused. Why did my brother, lying beneath me, look so unwilling to accept it? Was it because I no longer wanted to walk behind him? But I'd done exactly what he told me to do: I'd "led" all the women of the Zenin family. "Why aren't you happy for me, brother? The clan head and your sister are now the same person. Isn't that a good thing?" You think the two things that mattered to you are one and the same now, don't you? "All right, smile." That was an order from the clan head. And from now on, the men would stand behind the women. Note: Unconventional brother-and-sister complexes, unconventional pseudo-incest. Simply put, it's the story of a younger sister taking over the Zenin family. At first, she'll be a doting, obedient little sister. Later, she'll awaken to her own will.
