Divorce After Daybreak

After losing her memory, Jiang Ling was told a moving love story. The heroine was the precious daughter of a wealthy family, proud and willful, the apple of her parents' eyes. But when she was eighteen, she was discovered to be no blood relation to her father, and she and her mother were both kicked out of the family. The once-privileged heiress fell into ruin overnight, becoming a stray dog anyone could bully and humiliate. The hero was a rich young master, handsome and distinguished, and the ideal heir his parents were proud of. But at twenty, an accident left him paralyzed in both legs. Forget inheriting the family business, even having children was now out of the question. The once-glorious heir became a rat hiding in a dark room, never seeing the light of day. Then the heroine became the hero's caregiver, carefully looking after his daily needs and keeping him company as he emerged from the darkness and stood on his feet again. A few years later, the hero reclaimed the family business that was rightfully his, and the heroine married him, regaining the glory of the wealthy heiress she had once been. Umm... A melodramatic story of mutual salvation. That was Jiang Ling's take. Then she was told that she was the heroine who had saved the hero... Umm... Jiang Ling looked down at the divorce papers in her hand. She figured the love story other people had told her was probably made up. To find out what had really happened, she would have to investigate it herself as one of the people involved. This is a story about a couple who, after a happy ending of mutual salvation, discover that married life is a complete mess :) - Fireflies may be beautiful, but you can't see them once the sun rises :) - We kept each other warm through the night, then went our separate ways at dawn :) I've rewritten this blurb over and over, but it's still the same story, and the premise hasn't changed. Really :) Theme: A woman should love herself.
