This is an unauthorized translation I did on a whim. I do not own the copyright.

This is a science fiction story of about a thousand words. The original is somewhat chilling and perplexing. I've done my best to make the translation read smoothly while preserving its original meaning, but my limited skills have inevitably left many flaws.

Comments and corrections are welcome.
