Redemption

[This is very angsty. Even rereading it makes me cry, so proceed with caution.]

In middle school, Zhao Yan was a notorious delinquent, always covered in fresh and old wounds and constantly behind on the medical bills he owed Yang Zhou.

After getting hurt in yet another fight, he met Yang Zhou's beloved nephew, Yang Qing, an honor student.

Claiming he wanted to repay Yang Zhou, he began spending time with Yang Qing and protecting him. But unexpectedly, he uncovered the wound the honor student had buried deep in his heart. From then on, he could no longer let go of the person who broke his heart with pain until he could hardly breathe.

He once swore that as long as he was alive, he would do everything in his power to treat him well, so that he would never show such a sorrowful expression again.

But no one can outwit fate. He ended up becoming the person who hurt Yang Qing the most.

The beginning is angsty, very angsty. If you can just make it through the painful early part, the later part will be so sweet it'll make your teeth ache. But first, you have to make it through.

Neither of them is a scumbag gong or a shameless shou. They are each other's one and only, no explanation needed.

Reposting an old story. I'm making one last desperate attempt.

A ghost gong and a human shou.
