Playing Extras in a Once-Popular Anime

[Renaissance, I'm bad at this and still writing, click at your own risk]

As a 1.5-dimensional fan who happily devoured works based on their premises alone and never seriously followed anime, Shen Mo carelessly transmigrated into an obscure anime she'd never heard of.

Forced to accept the author's heavy-handed recommendations, Shen Mo was randomly assigned all kinds of bizarre identities and made to jump back and forth between roles. She had no choice but to set out in search of the anime's true meaning.

At first, Shen Mo just watched from afar, making quiet snarky comments as an insignificant background character.

But later...

Ahahahaha, what a load of crap this plot and these characters are! Die!!!

#Help, I was wrong. I beg you, give me a chance to catch up on the anime#

#Isn't this development a little too ridiculous?#

#I didn't even do anything, so why did the screen go black?#

#Fine, I'll steal the spotlight, I'll be the center of attention. One punch and I'm done#

#I'm done pretending. Today, I want to be popular too#

P.S. Retro melodrama, a little artsy, wild plot twists? Maybe out of character, possibly. It may already be out of character.
