The Little Taoist and the Great Sprite

(I'll leave this here for now... I'll write it when inspiration strikes.) Su Qing went down the mountain on her master's orders to gain experience. While searching for a trace of her demon friend, she ran into a county magistrate.

The magistrate was not only extremely handsome, but also very cunning.

Naturally, Su Qing kept her distance.

But it turned out the magistrate wasn't human at all. He was...

After learning the magistrate's true identity, Su Qing decided to cling to this powerful ally. Her master hadn't said what kind of experience she had to gain, after all.

"Senior, have some tea!"

"Senior, have a seat!"

"Would you like me to smooth your fur, Senior?" Su Qing smiled sweetly.

But it was all an act.

Don't grab him by the scruff! It's so embarrassing!

You stinking Taoist, don't think that I... that I'll go easy on you!

Their connection grew through one strange case after another, until they became inseparable.

Later...

"Little Taoist, come eat!" Wen Mufeng's voice was still lazy and gentle, and he still clutched a handful of colorful grains, but his eyes had long since turned red and wet.

(This is the story of a little Taoist who went to catch bad demons, only to meet a really big demon and get roped into working for the authorities.)
