Forget-Me-Not

Overnight, Ren Yuqing transmigrates into the body of a notorious, much-maligned starlet, and she's devastated.

Mired in scandal and terrible at singing, dancing, and acting, she's nothing but a pretty face, a hopeless mess.

And somehow, she once declared that she liked Huo Qingzhi, openly pursued her for years, and became the target of the entire entertainment industry.

Huo Qingzhi rose to fame at a young age, winning the Best Actress award at eighteen. Always cool and proud, she was like the moon, beautiful but out of reach.

On a talk show, the host asks her, "You're about to appear in a production with Ren Yuqing. Anything you'd like to say?"

Huo Qingzhi smiles coolly. "It's a three-minute role. I'm afraid I won't remember her."

But on set, Ren Yuqing is completely different. Her acting is so brilliant that Huo Qingzhi can't take her eyes off her.

After filming, Huo Qingzhi approaches Ren Yuqing, but Ren only glances at her and smiles gently. "I don't think we're close."

Huo Qingzhi takes it as a challenge. She moves into the apartment across the hall, and freeloads on Ren Yuqing's food, drink, and shelter, all because she wants an answer.

And then she discovers that this woman isn't the original Ren Yuqing.

With her biggest secret exposed, Ren Yuqing runs away in the middle of the night.

She thinks she'll be fine if she hides, but then she sees Huo Qingzhi's post trending online.

Huo Qingzhi: @Ren Yuqing You still owe me a confession.

The entertainment industry is shaken. How did these two people, who had nothing to do with each other, end up together?

Ren Yuqing is at a loss for words. If Huo Qingzhi insists on an answer, all she can say is:

"Maybe the reason you were reborn was so you could meet me."

"A new life, a journey through time, countless coincidences that brought us to our inevitable fate. If loving each other is our destiny, then it was simply meant to be."

*Rebirth vs. transmigration, showbiz, sweet romance, feel-good and satisfying, one-on-one, happy ending.

*Untouchable Best Actress x gentle, cunning starlet.
