This Monk Has an Incredible Heal Output [OW]

This story will go premium on September 20, 2018, with chapters 1 through 18 moved behind the paywall. I hope you'll keep supporting me, and please check out my new historical romance about a reborn princess, "The Princess Doesn't Play Fair (Reborn)." Please add it to your favorites. Thank you! Qiao Jiuyue never imagined she'd play a game with someone like him. Much less that the two of them would take the world stage and give everything they had for a game she loved. Qiao Jiuyue skipped class and hid in an internet cafe, fingers flying across the keyboard. It was the final push of the season, and she couldn't let school get in the way. Reaching Master rank was that important. What did Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought matter? A long, slender hand tapped her shoulder. Qiao Jiuyue turned around, brows furrowed. That stubborn, top-of-the-class disciplinary committee member had caught her skipping class several times already. What a nuisance! She thought he'd start lecturing her again about losing credit if she didn't go back, and was ready to turn up her headphones and ignore him completely. But instead, he said, "Once you rank up, will you go back?" Qiao Jiuyue raised an eyebrow. "Yeah! If I rank up, I'll attend every class next semester!" The man pushed up his black-rimmed glasses, then deftly opened a new account and started up the computer. "Fine. Give me your alt account. We'll duo queue." Qiao Jiuyue sneered. He probably didn't even know how to get into the game! What a bookworm! Ten minutes later, though, Qiao Jiuyue stared at her score as it shot past 3,000. She couldn't smile anymore. Wait, what had she just said? That she'd never skip class again? That she'd sit obediently through Introduction to Mao Zedong Thought!? Only later did she learn that this disciplinary committee member was the reigning world champion (smile). Qiao Jiuyue: We're going to win the championship. If we don't, I'll kiss you, hehe. TAG: The author is terrible at Overwatch. If anything contradicts the season or common sense, please forgive me. Please just treat it as a fictional game world. Thanks!! (This tag should be highlighted!) I'm writing about a game I love. This world needs more stories destined to flop! Theme:
