In 1835, during the final years of China's late Qing dynasty and the reign of Japan's Emperor Ninko, three young descendants of the Ping clan, a family of Chinese yin-yang masters, were sent by their master to Japan temporarily to escape the turmoil. There, they became entangled with the Tsuchimikado family, descendants of Abe no Seimei, as well as the Japanese government and its yokai. While waiting to return home and serve their country, the three boys, Ping Qi, Ping Tianshu, and Ping Sangzi, worked to improve their abilities and cultivation. At its heart, this is a story about the choices we make in life. Growth, after all, comes at a price. This is a serious drama, currently in progress. I hope those who enjoy it will share their thoughts and encouragement.
