Tsurumaru: When my new mistress first arrived, the list in her sword registry was thiiis long (smug). It had 108+1 slots!
Aoe: Mm-hmm. I hear all the others are young ladies, except for the +1, the Type 40 Tactical Gun.
Namazuo: (his cowlick twitches) But 106 of the slots in the sword registry are empty.
Heshikiri Hasebe: No problem! We can just forge swords and fill them up!
Tsurumaru: Hasebe-chan~ Have you forged any swords today?
The passing Kunishige Hasebe Girl: Didn't I tell you not to call me Hasebe-chan? If that guy hears you... He's right here, isn't he!
Heshikiri Hasebe: ...Today's stable duty: Tsurumaru Kuninaga and Hasebe Kunishige.
Hasebe Kunishige: (draws her tachi) You abuse your authority, and I'll cut you down.
This is the second main story in the Girl and Swords series. The pairing is Mistress x Mistress, while the swords share familial and friendly bonds. It's a lighthearted slice of life, though the main plot is still somewhat serious. The first story, [Crossover] Heroine, Don't Run!, can be found in the author's profile.
Completed story: Akane Yoshida, Part One
Ongoing Crossover with American comics: A Lord of the Rings fanfic
