A Ping-Pong Romance

A young boy and girl meet through table tennis!

Her: I used to wonder if table tennis was all my life would ever be. But after joining the national team, I found the warmth of family and the care of friends. And I met the person who would stay by my side for life! Meeting all of you was the luckiest thing that ever happened to me!

Him: I've loved table tennis since I was little, so I devoted myself to it. I thought life followed a simple pattern: play well, win the highest honors for my country, then retire at a certain age. I'd live an ordinary life and let the years pass. But then I met you, and my plans for the future fell apart. Suddenly, nothing was in my control. Every day, I think of how you hold back your frustration and force a smile when training gets tough, so nobody will worry. I think of your fleeting smile on the podium. I think of how you keep training through your injuries because you don't want to let anyone down. He had always been a self-proclaimed "marriage-free" man, but because of her, he kept breaking his own rules!

She would ignore anything that might interfere with her table tennis. But him? She secretly kept him tucked away in a corner of her heart!
