Raising Fluffies After the Beast World Catastrophe

Ji Yu is an outdoor adventure blogger. While filming on location one day, he accidentally stepped into a world of beasts.

Before he could even realize he had transmigrated, he looked up and saw a massive flood wave, dozens of meters high, rushing toward him.

Ji Yu's vision went black. He thought he was done for, but in the blink of an eye, a gigantic silver wolf, as tall as a two-story building, had him in its jaws and was running for its life.

The silver wolf carried him to the top of the highest mountain. Dozens of giant beasts of all kinds were gathered there.

Once they were out of danger, Ji Yu thought he had been transported to prehistoric times. He'd even seen dinosaurs while they were fleeing!

When the floodwaters receded, the giant beasts who had survived started talking all at once. The silver wolf that had saved him transformed into a handsome, silver-haired man, two meters tall!

Ji Yu's entire worldview took a hit, and he froze on the spot.

.

Ji Yu had lived a peaceful, trouble-free life for eighteen years. He'd never imagined he'd transmigrate to a world of beastfolk, body and all.

This world had just been through a great flood. Now food was scarce, plague was rampant, and survival was a struggle.

The only good news was that Ji Yu's backpack had come with him. It held a phone with a full battery but no signal, loaded with all kinds of educational videos; a high-capacity power bank; and a wilderness survival kit.

With a golden finger this powerful, surviving in the beastfolk world should be a piece of cake, right?

.

In the beastfolk world, both beastfolk and sub-beastfolk can transform into animals. Ji Yu is the only one who's purely human.

He can only sigh as he pets all the fluffy creatures, while he clears land, farms, and builds up the community. He puts the core values of socialism into practice, sending every beastfolk, from white-haired elders to cubs just weaned, to school for basic literacy and compulsory education!

One day, Ji Yu sat atop the silver wolf and gazed at Sunlit City below, his heart surging with pride. He stood tall and waved grandly. "Look! This is the empire I conquered for you!"

Silver wolf: "…"

Yu is talking nonsense again.
