After I Died, I Became the Lingering Spirit of the Scum Gong's White Moonlight

The day Mo Han died, Duan Cang was at the airport to meet the white moonlight he hadn't seen in ten years. Before he died, he thought: His parents didn't love him, his elders didn't care for him, his brothers didn't respect him, and his lover treated him as a substitute for his true love. Perhaps everyone would be better off if he died. Who could have guessed that after his death, his soul would drift to the side of that white moonlight, forced to become his ghostly guardian? He watched his younger brother, who had looked down on him most in life, go almost mad upon hearing the news of his death. He watched a friend who had once mocked him smoke until an entire ashtray was full of cigarette butts. He watched Duan Cang kneel before his grave, eyes red. Only after he died did he learn that so many people had wanted him to live. But he didn't care anymore. He looked at the sky and thought that he would simply return to the mountains. But someone's fervent prayers for him reached his ears, again and again. He turned around and saw the legendary white moonlight, who had never believed in ghosts or gods, kneeling before a Buddha statue with the documents and photographs from his life. He prayed thousands of times, offering up the marriage destined for the rest of his life in exchange for Mo Han's peace in his next life. Duan Cang and his white moonlight went their separate ways for good. Duan Cang knelt before his own grave, eyes bloodshot, while the white moonlight sat motionless at his desk all day. Mo Han stood behind the white moonlight and sighed as he watched him read poetry. How could such a refined young master, so accomplished and virtuous, have been so blind as to fall for Duan Cang? The love poems by his ear were tender, every line steeped in deep affection. The legendary white moonlight was perfect in every way. Too bad he was a hopeless romantic. Mo Han's sigh, as light as his soul, drifted with the warm afternoon sunlight to the white moonlight's ear. The white moonlight seemed to sense something. He looked up in Mo Han's direction and, to Mo Han's astonishment, smiled with his eyes. “Stop sighing.” “Since you say I'm a hopeless romantic, how about this hopeless romantic falling for you?” After the rose-colored filters of childhood faded, Bai Ziyan realized that his former lover had flaws everywhere. He had only one redeeming quality: good taste. So later, Bai Ziyan got together with Duan Cang's ex-boyfriend. Duan Cang once thought that the little substitute who was always following him was nothing more than a ridiculous plaything. That was, until later, when he grabbed Mo Han's arm with red-rimmed eyes, pleading through tears for him to turn back. But Mo Han only furrowed his brow, gently stopped Bai Ziyan from striking him, then pried his fingers loose one by one. “Sorry, I'm getting married.” He raised Bai Ziyan's hand beside him. Their matching rings gleamed in the sunlight. Please note: 1. Couple: Bai Ziyan x Mo Han 2. Bai Ziyan isn't a hopeless romantic. It's a misunderstanding. 3. After returning to the country, Bai Ziyan dated the scum seme for two months, but they never had any intimate contact during that time. Theme: Don't let temporary love and hate trap you.
