After a year in bed with Lu Weiguang, Tang Ming broke up with him. The next day, he received the news of Lu Weiguang’s death. His body was horribly mutilated, and his head was nowhere to be found.
The Abnormal Affairs Bureau’s new regulations prohibited cremating corpses on the day of death. They had to be observed for 24 hours, until the period of mutation ended.
At three in the morning, someone knocked on the bedroom door. The voice outside sounded a lot like Lu Weiguang.
“Ah Ming.” An eye stared motionlessly through the crack in the door. “Let me in.”
His ex had come back. The head he’d lost had grown back, just right.
But when disaster struck, Tang Ming saw Lu Weiguang’s skin rot and his body twist. He writhed through a pool of blood, then clung tightly to Tang Ming.
“Ah Ming, my skin’s torn.” The monster, wearing a handsome face, nuzzled him with a wounded expression. “It’ll grow back tomorrow. Don’t hate me, okay?”
Tang Ming: “...Did you even wash your hands before rubbing against me?”
Later, an entire squad of Keepers came to take the monster away. But their once-strongest captain walked out of the room and calmly said, “You’re not taking him.”
Behind him, a terrifying shadow rose up and completely engulfed him, like a cage.
The squad was horrified. Then Tang Ming turned around, and the monster instantly put on a docile human skin, nuzzling his hand obediently. “Listen to Ah Ming.”
Tang Ming used to have a little puppy following him around. Not long after they broke up, the puppy died in an accident.
Now the puppy had crawled back from a pool of blood, carrying his own head. Tang Ming had expected him to go crazy, but instead he stuck close to Tang Ming as always, only now he’d turned into a little tentacle monster.
During the day, the little tentacle monster hid in the darkest corners, looking at him with dewy eyes as it softly tugged at his clothes with a tentacle.
Tang Ming: “.”
That was fine.
He thought everything was back to how it used to be. Then, on a moonless night, cool, supple tentacles coiled around the edge of the bed. He opened his eyes and saw the monster emerge from the darkness.
“Ah Ming is so warm...” His little monster nestled against his waist and murmured, “Can I...?”
Tang Ming: “...”
That was fine too.
There was a reason they broke up! They’re each other’s first love! A sweet younger-man romance!
1. A calm, rational, easygoing and composed, exceptionally powerful Evolver bottom x A possessive, obsessive monster top who never competed for anything while alive, but fights for everything after “dying.”
2. A sweet, younger-man HE.

*Who Says I’m Not the Greatest Prodigy?*
Luo Jingdeng, the youngest sword wielder of the Qingluan Sect and the greatest prodigy in the cultivation world, had a bright and promising future. Yet, while undergoing tribulation, he accidentally formed a soul pact with a weak little demon.
The demon was a plump little bird, snowy white except for a tuft of red feathers on its head. The moment they met, it chased after him, chirping and burrowing into his robes.
Luo Jingdeng: ...It looks familiar.
The soul pact he formed with the little demon made them share their cultivation. The little bird was only at the Qi Refining stage, so Luo Jingdeng’s cultivation fell overnight. He went from the sect’s greatest prodigy to the lowest-ranking Qi Refining disciple.
His fellow disciples sighed and urged him to refine the demon using an ancient secret technique, roast its soul for forty-nine days, then grind its bones to dust. That might break the pact.
Luo Jingdeng lowered his eyes. The fluffy little bird hopped over and covered his cold hand with its warm feathers, quietly nestling against him.
“It is not my way to harm a young spirit,” Luo Jingdeng said calmly. “Even if I lose all my cultivation, I can forge my own path again.”
The Qingluan Sect’s sword wielder then disappeared from public view. Everyone in the cultivation world thought he would fall into the lower realms. But years later, when the Qingluan Sect was attacked and demons slaughtered the sect, a young swordsman crossed the Heavenly Gate with his sword in hand and drove the demons back three thousand li with a single strike.
To everyone’s astonishment, the peerlessly elegant swordsman was none other than the former greatest prodigy. Having weathered countless trials, he had returned. Looking down over the cultivation world, he was still its greatest swordsman.
A little vermilion bird with gorgeous tail feathers bounced around on his shoulder, playfully pecking at his hair.
There was only one Vermilion Bird in the world: the long-missing Demon Lord of the demon realm.
Sheng Zhoucheng, the new Demon Lord, was cold and ruthless. He had unleashed countless storms of blood and violence, then vanished during a heavenly tribulation.
The demon realm feared the Demon Lord, but few knew that many years ago, Luo Jingdeng, the Qingluan Sect’s eldest disciple, had taken in a junior fellow disciple.
Back then, the young Sheng Zhoucheng had held on to Luo Jingdeng’s sleeve, smiling and calling him “Senior Brother” in a sweet voice.
Now, a plump little bird hopped into Luo Jingdeng’s arms, ruffled its feathers, and nuzzled his collarbone.
“Chirp!”
One day, Luo Jingdeng received a gorgeous tail feather.
Vermilion Birds are born unable to shed their feathers. Plucking a tail feather is a confession of love.
Luo Jingdeng’s expression remained calm. “Perfect. I can use it to make a feather duster.”
Sheng Zhoucheng: “...”
A certain Demon Lord let out a very undignified squawk. “Chirp, chirp, chirp, chirp!”
1. The cultivation world’s greatest prodigy, a peerlessly powerful and beautiful sword master whom everyone wants as their senior disciple, as the bottom x A clingy little bird who insists that his senior brother belongs only to him, snarls at everyone else but is adorable with his beloved older brother, and is actually the Demon Lord, as the top.
Theme: Being loved makes little flowers grow toward the sun.
"Chen Zhuzhuo took it with both hands and nodded..."Catch a big bug for the author~
It's just a sweet story. I originally thought it would have a long main plot, but in fact it's short. Let's just read it as a mindless sweet story [cheek support]
This book is so short I kept crying><꧞
Finished spreading flowers, little couple 99!
Throw flowers! ! Squatting new article [Come on]
When you hit [yellow pants] [yellow heart], remember to concentrate. It's best to write the process as a paper and send it to me [caidog]
Talk! You must talk big! [Star Eyes]
Just pledge yourselves to each other [Caigou]
This orange tastes so good [poor]
After reading it, I feel like there are more Internet memes in the dialogues in this book than in previous books, and there are occasional dramas.
