Morning Star

This is an embarrassing old work, with muddled logic, poor writing, and a rushed ending. Not recommended.

Gu Jing might just be the legendary Unluckiest Person Alive. He meddles in something that isn’t his business and gets on the wrong side of a vicious criminal. He barely has time to hold on to his parents’ diaries after discovering them before someone starts hunting him down. While searching for the truth behind his parents’ deaths, he casually touches a tree, only to be chased by a horde of ghosts and monsters. Then he passes by Sleeping Dragon Well and wakes a black dragon that has slumbered for a thousand years...

Luckily, he meets a handsome young man to travel with, sparing him an untimely death.

The young man is cool, aloof, and ridiculously strong. He’s ruthless and says very little, yet saves Gu Jing time and time again. The two travel together, roaming far and wide.

But... I thought we were bros, and you want to [bleep] me???

A chatty, healing (?), little angel x a ruthless, tight-lipped, unexpectedly adorable cool guy

The male lead grows stronger over time. He’s very talkative for most of the story, and weak at first, often holding the others back, but he’ll gradually get stronger.

There’s sweetness as well as angst. The weaker one is on top early on; the top flirts without realizing it, and is slow to recognize his feelings.

Because of a bodily condition (not intersex, but I don’t want to spoil the specifics), the bottom can give birth. The process won’t be described in detail. Please take note if mpreg bothers you.
