The Little Mute Star [GB]

Blurb A senior executive parachuted into Cheng Zhixing’s company. Rumor had it the golden boy was handsome, tall, and rich. On his first day, the entire company looked like a beauty pageant. That afternoon, Cheng Zhixing had just finished writing her resignation and was about to make a run for it when someone cornered her in the break room. “You’re mute, and I’m crazy. We’re a match made in heaven, don’t you think, big sis?” The parachuted golden boy’s handsome face broke into a somewhat unnerving smile. He held Cheng Zhixing tightly in the crook of his arm, stroking her cheek as he drawled, “If you don’t say anything, I’ll take it as a yes.” “...” Cheng Zhixing, who couldn’t make a sound at all, suspected that Jiang Zeyi was picking on a mute. - A nineteen-year-old mute girl found a handsome, homeless boy. The boy was tall and handsome, dressed head to toe in designer clothes, dazzling like a runaway little prince. The mute girl, now saddled with a runaway prince named Jiang Zeyi, signed helplessly, “You should go home. You’ve been gone so long, your family must be worried.” “Big sis, what are you gesturing? I can’t understand.” Jiang Zeyi casually tossed aside the book on sign language he’d memorized cover to cover and gave her a troubled look. The little mute turned away, cheeks puffed in a sulk. Jiang Zeyi shamelessly wrapped his arms around Cheng Zhixing from behind and took her hand, guiding it to his lower belly. “Big sis, I’m carrying your child. You’re still kicking me out? Are you a heartless woman?” “...” The sulking little mute couldn’t help glaring at the brat who was blatantly lying through his teeth. There’s no pregnancy in the blurb, though it really is possible to get pregnant. Theme:
