I Have a Special Talent for Making Money

When he wakes up, Nan Jianyue realizes he is living inside a face-slapping wish-fulfillment novel. Worse, he is the cannon-fodder fake young master who can never measure up to the protagonist shou, suffers a breakdown, dies of a heart attack in his rented room, and isn't found until his body starts to stink. Luckily, he has bonded with the Treasure Basin System. He can earn money by cuddling up to people, and the higher their fortune value, the more he earns. Once the basin is full, he can trade it for a healthy body and go to a new world. But why is the person with the highest fortune value He Shiyan, the rich playboy rival he can't stand? Nan Jianyue: "Is this right? That short-lived guy has better luck than the protagonist?" System: "Hey, just wait until the plot starts. Once his fortune is stolen, he'll be done for." This is just too much! To get a healthy body, Nan Jianyue has no choice but to swallow his pride and help his nemesis hold on to his good fortune, while sneaking in a few cuddles (check). So when handing over documents, he casually brushes He Shiyan's hand. When picking something up, he accidentally steadies He Shiyan by the shoulder. Even when he faints, he makes sure to crawl into He Shiyan's arms before passing out... As for his nemesis, He Shiyan's ears turn suspiciously red, but he still coldly pushes Nan Jianyue away. "I'm a neat freak. Stay away from me." Just then, the protagonist shou transfers schools, so Nan Jianyue immediately switches targets. * Later, on a chilly, rainy night, Nan Jianyue steps outside wearing the protagonist shou's coat, only to fall into a damp yet strangely scorching embrace. He Shiyan is drenched from head to toe. No one knows how long he's been waiting in the rain. Like a puppy abandoned by its owner, he presses his trembling nose to the hollow of Nan Jianyue's neck. Even his voice sounds wet as he murmurs, "If it's you... you can touch me anywhere..." Nan Jianyue's eyes gleam alarmingly at that. [Key points and content warnings] 1. Money-minded, unintentionally seductive shou and a sharp-tongued, secretly soft gong who's a master of self-brainwashing; 2. A sweet little orange-yogurt story, 1v1; 3. The shou has a mild everyone-loves-him trait. Please take note. Message: Money can't stop life's hardships.
