Qin Luo summed up the first time his heart skipped a beat for Li Qiu like this:
"I think my heart just had an orgasm."
-
Qin Luo's friends all said he'd lost his mind lately. He'd turned down drinks with them again and again, all because of a woman who picked locks.
When he failed to show up yet again, his friends called to hurry him along. He said brazenly, "I'm not coming. I refuse to believe there's a woman I can't get!"
After hanging up, he turned around and found Li Qiu standing behind him. Without so much as a change in expression, she asked him to move aside.
Qin Luo was so startled he nearly dropped his phone.
As usual, Li Qiu ignored him the whole way, until the man followed her all the way to her apartment building. Finally, she spoke.
"You like me?"
"Like you so much it hurts..."
Li Qiu gave a faint smile and looked straight at him, her gaze perfectly calm. "Want to sleep with me?"
Qin Luo froze. He was a grown man, yet such a blunt phrase was enough to make his mind go hot.
He swallowed involuntarily and murmured, "I've dreamed of it."
Li Qiu turned around and swung the keys in her hand. "Come up."
Qin Luo never expected the cold and curt woman to be so fiery. He couldn't control himself, and once he'd had a taste, he wanted more. He wished he could drown in that narrow bed.
The afterglow still lingered, and the fire in his heart was still burning fiercely, but he watched the desire quickly fade from Li Qiu's eyes.
She rolled over and pulled the covers over herself.
"You got what you wanted? Then get lost."
