"Hey, sir, you dropped something!" called a pleasant female voice.
Hearing her, he turned and looked down at the girl who had called out to him.
The girl's ponytail had only just stopped swaying after she came to an abrupt halt, and her cheeks were tinged pink.
Looking higher, he met those clear, lively eyes, and paused for a moment before quickly regaining his composure.
He noticed she was holding nothing but an umbrella.
"Thank you." He fell silent, using his eyes to express his confusion.
"Me!" The girl had noticed his momentary pause, and her voice grew even more cheerful.
"Hm?" After waiting two seconds and realizing she had nothing else to say, he prompted her.
"I took one look at your fortune, and it says you're missing me!" she replied with a grin. Her smiling eyes were full of amusement and the mischievous satisfaction of a prank well played.
Strangely, annoyance wasn't the first thing he felt.
Looking into those eyes, he felt he ought to indulge her.
A friendly reminder:
1. One-on-one romance, both leads are each other's first.
2. Not much angst, just sweetness, sweetness, sweetness.
3. The leads are devoted to each other. The male lead is gentle and refined, and the female lead is lively and adorable.
This is my first book, and it has plenty of flaws, but I hope you'll read it to the end.
"The Moon Ran Away"
Jiang Xia had never dared hope she could be with Lu Shi.
She lived with the Lu family and depended on their financial support. She also had a limp. Lu Shi, meanwhile, had grown up with a silver spoon in his mouth, and every girlfriend he'd ever had was gorgeous.
She buried her feelings deep in her heart.
But on the day the college entrance exams ended, he smiled at her. "Little Lame, would you agree to anything I said? Even if I told you to marry me?"
It felt like a dream. Jiang Xia blankly nodded.
She thought that meant they were together.
Lu Shi found it amusing, but couldn't be bothered to set her straight. He let things take their course and would tease her from time to time.
Jiang Xia thought it was sweet.
That was, until he got a new girlfriend and officially announced it.
He gave a mocking laugh and glanced at Jiang Xia. "When did I ever say she was my girlfriend?"
Just then, a major event shook the capital's elite circles.
The Lu and Shen families, bitter rivals for years, discovered that their sons had been switched at birth more than a decade ago. After the family patriarchs spent days negotiating face-to-face, Lu Shi and Shen Ci exchanged lives.
Little Lame disappeared from Lu Shi's side immediately, and the next day, she began repaying her debt of gratitude to Shen Ci.
A friend teased him, "So it turns out Little Lame was after your status as the young master of the Lu family."
Lu Shi's gaze darkened. He said each word slowly: "Jiang Xia, if you have the nerve, never look back."
Little Lame really did have the nerve. She went abroad with Shen Ci for several years, and when they returned, they were a couple.
She truly never looked back, not even once.
But someone saw the young master of the Shen family, now renamed Shen Shi, drunkenly embracing a girl.
His voice was hoarse and restrained. "If I go back to the Lu family, will you like me again?"
Theme:
What should I do? I really want to watch my son's extras! Why don't you have a son if you have a daughter? You can't be more generous than this!
It's really good-looking, the male and female protagonists are very sweet
Nice! Everyone cried! Finally, I would like to ask if you have any plans to write a story about Uncle Xiao and Xiao Xin.
Thanks for the limited exemption, I cried when I watched the last extra episode
I read it all night, and cried when I read the last two pages, so I asked you, can you read Xinru's novels? Pseudo-uncle and nephew, age difference, they are my food ah ah ah ah
Every time I watch it I want to cry
Wow (⊙o⊙) Wow, the extra story really made me cry. Xu Han is very good, but there are still some bugs in the whole text. The portrayal of the heroine is not enough, but it is the first time for the author to write an article, so it can be improved. Come on ↖(^ω^)↗, I hope your next new article will make some progress, and you can portray the male and female protagonists more fully??
I really like the ideas in the author's column~ Author, you have to work hard to code (๑>◡
I like it so much. I followed it from Tieba.
I can't wait for "Isolated Island". Come watch this. It's so warm and sweet. It's great.
