After spending many days excavating in Lop Nur, on a hot, dry morning, A Su and I found an ancient coffin in the cemetery at the Xiaohe ruins. When the coffin was opened, my colleagues saw a thousand-year-old female corpse, but I saw the skeleton of a beauty.

She seemed to have slept for years, not to have died.

That familiar outline struck straight at my beating heart, plunging me into a profound, unforgettable memory. The blowing sand blurred my eyes, and I clutched the hand of the woman beside me...

That year, before I met a certain woman, my life was perfectly peaceful. After I met her, she made me doubt the entire world. She wanted to help me escape from this world, and kept showing me The Truman Show. She was always hinting at something, always earnestly saying she would help me run away. I couldn't tell whether the people around me were good or bad, or perhaps both... My understanding of all of them grew hazy. I didn't know whom to trust. Everyone said the others were bad people, surrounding me and filling my head with conflicting ideas.

Because so many of the most important memories in my life were blank, I had no choice but to keep searching for what had happened over the years. As I slowly unraveled one strange mystery after another, I fell into an even more bewildering abyss. And behind that abyss lay a shocking secret... a game I never would have imagined, even in death...
