Old He moves into a nursing home and meets Xu Yang, an excellent caregiver.
As they get to know each other, Xu Yang admits that he has been using a false identity.
His real name is Yuan Xiaodong, and for the rest of his life, he must live for his best friend, Xu Yang.
But Old He realizes things aren't so simple.
Are Xu Yang and Yuan Xiaodong two different people, or two sides of the same person?
In truth, the answer doesn't matter. The right answer has been in our hearts all along.

I didn't feel the two sides of a person in the text. The foreshadowing in it could be more obvious.
I like the metaphor of dust very much, it's very healing.
