A Guide to Dominating the Imperial Court

Lately, Zhou Xian has kept dreaming of strange scenes.

In a magnificent palace, beautiful maids smiled as they offered fruit, while scantily clad dancers boldly swayed their snowy-white waists, occasionally casting sultry glances. Well-dressed politicians clinked cups and whispered to one another.

And in the dream, she sat at the highest seat, lazily taking off the hibiscus crown that bound her hair.

"His Majesty is tired, so this banquet should come to an end. Ministers, you may return."

Everyone stood and obediently lowered their heads, speaking in unison: "We respectfully bid farewell to the Regent."

Is this the past, or the future?

Note:

1. The heroine's character is unusual.

2. A slow-burn story, probably.

3. The setting draws on several dynasties. Don't expect historical accuracy.

4. As usual, if I abandon the story, I'll livestream myself drinking soy sauce.
