Dick is Gotham's Best Fake Ex of the Year, a title she bestowed on him, and he has held onto the crown for years. Nothing pays better than pretending to be a rich man's fake girlfriend. Just look at her bank balance and penthouse. And that's not even mentioning Dick's gentleness, thoughtfulness, good looks, strength, humor, intelligence, and excellent stamina. Everything was perfect until she got a phone call. "You mean... unless you get married, you can't inherit the family fortune, and your accounts are frozen?" "Yep, that's the situation. Do you understand how serious this is?" "Dickie, darling, go find someone else. There must be thousands of people out there who'd be happy to play along and become your non-fake wife." "But you're my Fake Ex of the Year." Dick pleaded with her, nearly in tears. "No, no, you're even Gotham's Best Fake Ex of the Year. I'll agree to one, no, ten conditions. I'll buy you a diamond necklace. I'll... give you half the manor!" - The plan was going smoothly, but something strange was happening here. She was being hounded by Robins, plural.
