My new novel, Little Deaf Girl, is also updating now. I hope you'll give it your support.
I've worked things out with my editor: it will go premium on February 1. That day, there'll be two extra chapters and a total of 12,000 words. The premium chapters start at Chapter 27, so if you've already read those chapters, please don't buy them again. Mwah.
CP: [The flirtatious and free-spirited Prince Shijun] x [The virtuous and gracious young physician]
Bones become paper, flesh and blood become ink. What is painted has never been the realm.
Vanity serves as the inkstone, human desire takes up the brush. What brings peaceful dreams has never been a warm pillow.
Your Majesty's future lies ahead. You and I will look down upon it from on high.
In the dragon's lair or the tiger's den, you and I will weather every hardship together.
With warmth and fragrance in the air, I'll share your pillow and join you at the splendid feast.
Since this story grew out of the prequel, Buddha's Bane, there may be some details I haven't explained in depth. To make the story easier to follow, here's a brief outline of the prequel.
Young Master Zisang was originally the granddaughter of the current king. Her father favored her not at all, and she was imprisoned with her mother in a temple from childhood. Later, she disguised herself as her older brother and went to the capital to compete for the position of crown prince. Nanwu was then both an assassin and a guardian who stayed by Zisang's side. Bai Yunmo was one of the people who fled with Zisang back then. After they escaped, Bai Yunmo and Zisang were kindly taken in for a time, but were eventually forced apart. Zisang stayed behind and grew up there. This story begins six years later, when they meet again and their lives unfold anew.
The main couple's relationship should have a happy ending throughout. I think it's quite heartwarming, though I can't say what you'll think...
The author has always believed that even heroes have their hidden thoughts, and even villains have their little moments of honor. I don't like dragging in disposable characters just for face-slapping, or creating characters so bizarrely twisted that they're unbelievable just to shock readers. I prefer writing about ordinary people who are vivid, emotional, and full of life. I hope you'll see what I'm trying to express in my stories. If you're looking for pure thrills, my short arms might not reach far enough.
Bai Yunmo, that's the kind of person you have to be. Once you've made up your mind, you must see it through, even if it costs you your life.
Nanwu caressed his sword. "We swordsmen stake our lives on our promises."
Drunk, Zisang said, "There's nothing in my heart but the people of the world. What do they have to do with me?"
What do they have to do with me?
As you walk through this world, how can you escape all the countless ties that bind you? Meeting you entangled me in an endless web of fate and calamity.
Half history, half romance.
I want to be dashing and carefree, and I want a realm as beautiful as a painting.
I want to drink wine and compose poetry, and I want a prosperous world.
I want a golden age in full bloom, and I want you in my arms.
Theme:
It's their big wedding. Ah Piao has given birth to a baby in the heavy snow. They are not married yet.
This car drives so well. At first glance, there's nothing there, but if you look closely, you'll find everything 🤭
My favorite character is Nan Wu, but it's a pity that she doesn't have many roles
I thought the last chapter would be the end, but I didn't expect it. . .
Remember to fill in the holes?
In fact, this kind of Zisang is more flesh-and-blood and a relatively plump character.
Cry! Finally updated
It's been a while since I updated. Have you forgotten?
So how did Yuan He and her master escape at that time? Could it be that they were taking a shower? By the way, was the host also dead?
Wish you a happy old age (?°з°)-? I hope Miss Nanwu can have a good ending
