The Underachiever at the Number One Scholar’s Tower

Ding Xiaonuo thought her life was a bit of a tragedy: she lived in a building full of top scorers. Fan, on the seventh floor, was the top scorer in the college entrance exam. Qiu, on the sixth floor, was studying at MIT. Wang, on the fifth floor, had been admitted to Peking University without taking the entrance exam. Li, on the fourth floor, got into a teacher's college with a score just over the cutoff thanks to her special talent. Even Lin Yu next door was first in the whole school... Ding Xiaonuo looked at her math test paper with its score of 38 and cried herself unconscious in front of the building. "Tsk, you really are dragging down the IQ of the entire building," Lin Yu said with a smug, punchable grin. This is a short story, a very short one.
