Tang Jiu opened her eyes to find herself a living widow. Faced with a home stripped bare and a whole family waiting hungrily for her to feed them, she was on the verge of a breakdown.
After several twists and turns, she steeled herself and returned to her old trade from her previous life: slaughtering pigs and selling meat. Just as things were going smoothly, the consumptive ghost who had supposedly died came back to life!
Zhu Yun: Pork costs twenty wen a jin. How much silver would it take to buy you, Boss Tang?
Tang Jiu: Pork can be discounted. The boss is priceless, and you can't afford me.
Zhu Yun: Then I'll give myself to you for free, not even charging a single wen. You'd get a priceless treasure and an added bonus. What could be better?
Tang Jiu slammed her cleaver onto the chopping board. "Pah! Have you no shame?"
P.S. This is a story about making a fortune and falling in love, with a focus on the little things in life. The setting is fictional, and very loosely based on anything real, so please don't nitpick the historical details!

After an unexpected transmigration, Chief Forensic Physician Qing Zijin only wants to stay at her family's butcher shop, eat her fill, wait to die, and live to a ripe old age.
Unfortunately, life doesn't go her way. On a snowy night, a mysterious man begins pestering her.
Day One
Qing Zijin is slaughtering a pig. The man rolls up his sleeves. "I'll help you slaughter pigs if you help me investigate a case. Deal?"
Qing Zijin shakes her head and replies without hesitation, "No!"
Day Two
Qing Zijin is selling pork. The man rolls up his sleeves again. "I'll help you sell pork if you help me investigate a case. Deal?"
Qing Zijin frowns, about to refuse, when she spots Madam Zhang from West Alley and the widow Li from North Street staring at the man's handsome face with hungry eyes. They both announce that they'll buy an extra half-jin of meat.
Qing Zijin smiles, setting down her cleaver. "My lord, shall we discuss a business partnership?"
From then on, the butcher shop gains a special guest model. He doesn't slaughter pigs or sell meat. He just stands at the entrance and attracts customers.
And outside the butcher shop, Minister Xie Junyue of the Court of Judicial Review gains a special guest female coroner. With her face hidden behind a white veil, she reads the language of bones and brings justice to the wronged. The cleaver at her waist makes her remarkably quick at solving cases.
Theme:
It's so noisy. Ten Farms and Nine Best Beginnings
Didn't people get married early in ancient times? The eldest was only 10 years old. How old could Tang's mother and Tang's father be!
It's very well written and I like it very much. This is your second film that I've watched. I support you, come on!
It's a very interesting question. Please keep updating it.
The introduction copy looks good, but once you click on it, it's not what it is…
I'm so fucking speechless, I won't watch anymore
Why does the heroine feel so frustrated?
Why do you recognize your mother so quickly?
With just one sentence from this lady, the silly and sweet style of a TV series comes to my face. . . . . .
Looks good, please keep up the good work! Sprinkle flowers ~
