It is said that this chapter of this novel was a mess. Gu Long did not finish it and someone else continued it. So there are many opinions. I have not read the original work, but I know the general plot, just like what you said.
I feel that the IQ of Gong Jiu in this adaptation is too weak, and it is not worthy of the nine compositions that Shaman said about him. Although Gong Jiu in the original novel is perverted, he is really quite smart. If it weren't for his pervert, Lu Xiaofeng would have almost fallen into trouble. By the way, many men and women in Gu Long's novels are very perverted and have incorrect views. But the story is still very interesting.
Sometimes TV shows are scarier than fan adaptations. But didn't Gong Jiu's mother commit suicide? Gong Jiu also misunderstood that it was his father who killed him. By the way, it makes me laugh when I see others calling Ximen Chuixue Daxia! I always feel that only the village owner can be added behind the west gate, just like Ye Gucheng can only be called the city owner. Once you add heroes, all the fairy spirit is gone. And this unit. Speaking of Ximen Chuixue played by Peter Ho, I always feel that it's a drama. It's not about the acting, it's about the face.
In fact, when I read this story, I felt that Ximen Chuixue was not a special person. You can forget your love for the sword. But after forgetting her love, in order to help Lu Xiaofeng, rumors of Sun Xiuqing and Lu Xiaofeng's affair went too far. After all, this is ancient times. Even for martial arts people, a woman's modesty is very important. As a result, Ximen Chuixue treated his wife who had given birth to a child like this. Suddenly I turned from being a fan of him to a negative one.
Fans have always believed that the son of Jade Rakshasa is Ximen Chuixue. So cold╯╰
Although the combination plot is very confusing, I have to say that among the various versions of this drama, it is very close to the original work. The other versions make people want to turn off the TV.
