[Wuxia Crossover] Xu Rongcheng, the Demon Taoist of His Generation

"Xu Rongcheng, the fortune-teller of the martial world, spreads heresy and throws the court into chaos. Whoever can put my mind at ease shall receive ten thousand taels of gold and be made a marquis with ten thousand households!" On the day the imperial edict went up, peerless masters fled with their faces covered, first-rate experts moved away from the capital with their entire families, and the ministers who had failed to dissuade the young emperor wept bitterly... In the martial world, some people simply must not be provoked! Yet just as countless people trembled with fear, convinced that the newly founded Great Xuan dynasty would soon fall, a cute young man with a baby face arrived in a small town. Holding up a tattered banner, he smiled, his eyes curving into crescents. "Hey there, want your fortune told? Just nine coins and nine tenths. If I'm wrong, you don't pay~" ** The demon Daoist who stirs up storms has never minded revealing the secrets of heaven. He encourages, even guides, everyone to rebel against that so-called "heavenly fate." "Brother Lu, I've divined that you're in danger of bloodshed soon! You'll be fine, but it seems the misfortune may fall on one of your friends..." "The feeling's mutual, and Li, the young top scholar, has everyone green with envy. What a pity... It would be wonderful if he could have both his friend and his beloved." "Ah, when I think that someone like Young Master Yuan may one day be burned to ashes by the flickering candlelight, I can't help feeling sorry for him." With a smile that was neither quite a smile nor quite a sneer, the innocent young man in a Daoist robe hid malicious prophecies in his airy words. Then, with eager delight, he watched them struggle with all their might, only to be dragged helplessly into an ever more violent and cruel maelstrom, where they broke down in despair. There was only one person for whom even this vicious demon Daoist was willing to reluctantly suppress his true nature. "There, there. Your parents love you, and I love you too." "Come to me." "If this little dog who can't find his way dares to run off again, his master will really have to punish him harshly, you know."
