My Villain Protagonist Really Isn't Human

My name is Song Ning, and I'm a web writer who's barely worth mentioning.

After ten years of working diligently and still being completely unknown, I decided to let loose and go all out in the final year of my contract!

So, after careful consideration, I created a nonhuman protagonist. Not only were his attributes inhuman, but his personality was, too. He was the sort of character who would be a villain in any other novel.

I succeeded. My name made it onto the list of authors to avoid!

"You're the author? The person who created me?"

A handsome, dashing, yet gloomy man stood beside the bed, looking as if he could run me through with his sword at any moment. He spoke to me as I jolted awake. "You made a complete mess of my life. Have you thought about how you'll atone with your death?"

I was stunned. As I tried to push the sword away, I couldn't help touching it. After all, I'd never seen a real one before.

The man's expression grew even gloomier.

"Let's talk this out, hero." Sensing his murderous intent, I was very quick to play along. "May I ask who you are? What do you mean, 'created'?"

"Hmph." The man sneered, then began to recite in a sarcastic, mocking tone: "I'm no hero. I'm just a monster wearing human skin."

Oh no. I'm done for. That line sounds familiar.

The look in his eyes confirmed it: he's a reader who wants to send me razor blades!
