The Champion of Justice and the Villain's Spokesperson

Part A

"My dear nemesis, my love..."

"..."

"FBI!" The sunglass-wearing lackey beside him looked horrified, as if he had seen the Grim Reaper arrive.

The justice-bringing man in the black coat was utterly confused: Nemesis? Lover?? FBI and a killer??

Part B

The cafe waiter crouched down gently and said with a smile, "Would you like to try today's new item?"

The grade-schooler with a backpack coldly refused. "No. The police said not to eat things from strangers."

The patient young waiter said, "You said the same thing yesterday, kid."

"Tsk."

Parts A and B

Some people had never met, yet were drawn to each other by a casual glance.

"I really like you..." The heartless little kid smiled a little too brightly. "Can I touch you?"

The righteous adult still had a shred of reason left, and held back the urge to move closer. "You can't..."

Note: There are two protagonists. Parts A and B are told from separate perspectives, while Part AB combines them.

The justice-bringing man is Shinichi, who has become Gin, while the villain's representative is Gin, who has swapped places with Shinichi.

Content warnings: Gin has amnesia early on and is a somewhat fierce little kid. He is not blindly loyal to the Boss.

The pairing is undecided. It features a four-person love quadrangle and a tendency toward self-absorption. The ending may be one-on-one or may not be.

A happy ending in a silly, comedic story. Don't expect logic, just have fun.

Theme: Even after switching identities, you still have to do your job well.
