The Mortal World

[A classic old story from 2006]

Dong Jun met a Taoist cultivator with an otherworldly air in the mountains and fell for him as if bewitched.

He went to Taoist temples and attended religious ceremonies, all just to catch another glimpse of that astonishingly beautiful Taoist. But after a long, painful search, he found nothing.

To follow that man, Dong Jun abandoned the mortal world and entered the realm of cultivation, hoping only to cultivate together with him.

Cultivators are detached and desire little. A hundred years, two hundred years passed, their bodies remaining eternally young, while their hearts stayed behind in the decades they had spent together... Should he really give up on a love that even Heaven would not grant?
