You're Blocking My Moonbath

[The print edition is now available under the title I've Loved You for So Long.]

A calculating business tycoon x a sweet, soft little moon. He's fiery, she's delicate, and after breaking up, they find their way back to each other.

In a hotel restroom, Ren Qingchi pins Jiang Mingyue firmly against the wall.

Her eyes are calm and still as she looks at the mirror across from her, not sparing him a glance.

Alongside the faint hum of the hand dryer, his casual greeting reaches her ear: “Don't you recognize me?”

His clear voice and the faint scent of tobacco and alcohol wash over her together, stirring up a storm in Jiang Mingyue's heart.

She bites her lip, tosses out, “You're drunk,” and slips away from him.

Ren Qingchi waits until she's gone before daring to light a cigarette. His hand is still shaking as he raises it to his lips.

Over these past few years, wherever he went, north or south, he always checked first to see if she was there.

The girl who had once been soft and boneless in his arms

has turned to stone in her heart.

But for the rest of his life, he only wants to hold that stone as the sun rises and sets, never letting another moment go to waste.

After all, the little moon who once sat in his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck and smiling and cooing at him, must still be made of sugar, even if she has turned to stone.
