Maybe it was an illusion. From the reflection of the glass, I could vaguely see that the smile on the head teacher's face, which was facing away from me, was getting bigger and bigger, until it reached the base of the back ear, revealing a mouth full of fine teeth, shining with a sharp cold light. I thought I was really crazy. I actually saw a face covered mostly by a smile through the glass! That usually kind face was full of a sinister smile with malicious intent. I stared at the head teacher's back in horror, fearing that he would turn around and pounce on me and eat me.
