Pollution

An ancient and powerful being beyond the limits of human imagination awakens from the Olden Days. Humanity goes mad after glimpsing a corner of the universe's truth, and the world is contaminated, shattered, and slowly collapsing, forming one contaminated zone after another.

Yu Rong has a boyfriend named Du Heng. When they were trapped in a contaminated zone, Du Heng was contaminated while saving Yu Rong, fell into chaos, and died. When the others at the base heard about it, they sighed over the tragic fate of the loving young couple.

When death came for them again, the others died one after another. Only Yu Rong remained alive, a mocked prey fleeing everywhere. In the dead silence, just as Yu Rong was about to escape the contaminated zone, many writhing phantoms suddenly appeared on the broken wall. Damp, sticky black tentacles wound around her body, and countless twisted shadows intertwined. Yu Rong's eyes widened. Her boyfriend, who should have been long dead, appeared before her and gripped her throat. He leaned down as tenderly as he had in the past, embracing her and chuckling in her ear: "My girlfriend is a liar who'll stop at nothing to stay alive. What a coincidence. So am I."

His tone was vicious and greedy.
