The Wolf's Warmth

On the first day of the first month of the first year of the apocalypse, the world fell asleep. This day became known as Sleeping Day.

Humans fell asleep, animals fell asleep, plants fell asleep, and even microorganisms and the inanimate earth, ores, flames... everything fell asleep. The entire world was silent.

On the second day of the first month of the first year of the apocalypse, the world awoke. This day became known as Awakening Day.

Humans woke up. Half had turned into zombies, while the other half had undergone beastification. Of those who had beastified, seventy percent were ordinary people, while thirty percent had gained supernatural abilities. Of those with supernatural abilities, eighty percent had only one, while twenty percent had several.

Animals woke up with intelligence no less than that of humans. They were stronger and fiercer, and had also mutated. Some animals had supernatural abilities as well.

Plants woke up with intelligence and powerful killing abilities. Some plants also had supernatural abilities.

The earth, ores, flames... the entire planet had undergone a transformation.

At the start of the apocalypse, a snake girl met her wolf hero. The wolf's warmth thawed her cold-blooded heart, and she became addicted to his warmth.

She would remember the moment they met forever:

The man laughed heartily. "Hey, pretty girl, need a hero?"
