The Female General

Foreign invaders ravage the land, beacon fires rise on all sides, and a strategic stronghold teeters on the brink of collapse.

Her father is betrayed and sent back to the General's Estate, barely clinging to life.

Her two older brothers have also vanished without a trace.

Seeing that the General's Estate has fallen into ruin, Xu Jiuning's fiancé, the Crown Prince, arrives with another woman and proposes taking his beloved as his equal wife.

The General's Estate becomes the laughingstock of the realm.

As that woman brushes past Xu Jiuning, their eyes meet.

As if they were old acquaintances.

Trapped in a desperate predicament, she makes a decision no one could have anticipated:

"The fate of our country is still undecided. I, Xu Jiuning, will take up my sword and give my life for my country's needs!"

She resolutely breaks off the engagement, dons her armor, and takes her father's and brothers' place on the battlefield.

Fighting her way through countless hardships, she becomes the first female general in the history of Fengyun Kingdom.

Reader's Guide:

1. Xu Jiuning's name is drawn from the phrase "May peace endure and the nation stand firm."

2. This story is committed to building an era of gender equality, with no women competing against one another for a man.

3. There is a male lead, but he's not very important. The country comes first.
