So What? [Winning Back My Ex]

An Qinxin had loved Ying Boyao for many years, so when he confessed, she accepted without hesitation.

Only later did she learn that he had been using her to forget the woman he could never have.

But Ying Boyao couldn't forget her, and he couldn't be a good boyfriend either.

He skipped An Qinxin's singing debut for the sake of the woman he still loved.

He never heard the secret-love song she'd written and composed herself.

When she was caught up in plagiarism allegations, he was photographed appearing in public with that woman.

An Qinxin knew it was time to bring the secret love she'd carried since she was a girl to an end.

For the first time, she appeared on the account where she'd posted songs she'd written and composed for years, and released a brand-new single. The plagiarism rumors fell apart on their own.

During the livestream, a longtime fan asked her, "This song is so sad. Are you giving up, Qinxin?"

An Qinxin smiled gently and whispered, "Yes. I've given up."

Backstage at the singing competition.

Ying Boyao took An Qinxin's hand and explained, "She's not the woman I could never forget. I..."

An Qinxin pried his hand away. Her gaze was calm and empty, no longer holding any affection. "So what?"

A near-perfect ending is still not a perfect ending.
