You Were the Gentle Spring Rain, Gone for Good on a Faraway Road

We met in March.

We even prayed for the best fortune.

But the truth was

Qing Jue died in my arms.

I truly wanted to kill them.

But I knew I couldn't.

I had long since given up on my own life, but I couldn't ignore the hundred or so people in the General's household!

During the days after I lost her, I often wondered:

If we had never met back then, I might have died on the road long ago.

And Qing Jue would probably have married an ordinary man and lived an ordinary, but happy, life!

If only things had turned out that way!
