A Republican-Era Woman Writer

Jiang Jiu's husband, Shen Jicheng, was a progressive young man. His parents forced him to marry her, but his heart belonged to that red rose. In the past, Jiang Jiu had lived for her husband, asking only for a happy marriage. Yet whenever people spoke of her, they called her "the abandoned wife of the Shen family." Later, Jiang Jiu discovered that a woman could live another kind of life, one that involved picking up a pen and writing. Later still, people addressed her as "Ms. Jiang." In this era of historical progress and change, some women refused to be left behind by the times and become "the dregs of the old era." They did not wait in silence. Instead, they chose to leap in and join the movement. Reader's Guide: 1. This story is set in an alternate Republican-era China. Alternate, alternate, alternate! It is not the real Republican era! It is not an allegory, so please do not scrutinize it as history or project yourself into it. 2. The heroine will divorce. Her ex-husband is not the male lead. No romance pairing; the main focus is the story. 3. The heroine grows step by step from a woman shaped by feudal society. She is timid and kind by nature, so if you want an all-powerful, cold-blooded strong heroine, this is not for you. 4. Updates may not be daily, depending on how busy I am in real life. 5. Please don't compare rankings. If you drop the story, there's no need to tell me. Sending love. Theme: Growing into a better version of yourself
