(Natsume) Yokai Tales with Natsume-kun

Mu Dao Wei hid behind the bus stop, watching Natsume Takashi from afar. A huge fat cat was perched on his head. She turned to the little white dog sitting by her feet and said:

"Woof, should I go over and tell Natsume-kun that a whole string of yokai are following him?"

The little white dog licked its tiny paw pads like a cat and said, "First, go buy me one of those bean buns from Nanatsujiya that the fat cat is eating. Then we'll talk."

"Woof... Do you want to grow as big as that meow-meow, too?"

"Shut up! And don't call me Woof! Call me Lord Nekomata, got it?"

I love healing princes more than anything... (Wrong emphasis! Scratch that!)

Actually, I've been rewatching Natsume's Book of Friends lately, and suddenly really wanted to write a fanfic.

My idea is that the heroine can see yokai, too, and that she's also protected by a powerful yokai who's always by her side. (I'll keep the reason secret for now.)

There are lots of original settings, but the plot follows the original.

So it'll definitely be a long one. (Oh my gosh, I've started another long-fic project. The little angels reading my other stories are going to beat me up!)

As usual, here's a four-character update schedule: completely unpredictable...
