Cringe-worthy old history. Please don't read, thanks.

Recently, a survival idol competition show called Idol Show has become incredibly popular.

Nizhao, a girl obsessed with idols, has fallen victim to the craze too, picking a whole bunch of favorites.

What she doesn't know is that someone close to her is taking part in the show.

Later, while swooning over someone's solo fancam and thinking she could watch it ten thousand times a day, Nizhao bitterly regretted not noticing this shameless flirt sooner.

It's okay. He's had his eye on you for ages anyway.

One day, Nizhao was sitting at her computer, sorting through photos.

Jiang Xin had just finished showering, and his hair was still dripping wet.

He came over and curled up on the sofa. Reaching out, he wrapped his arms around Nizhao's waist from behind and buried his face in the crook of her neck.

Nizhao tilted her head slightly and smiled. "What's wrong?"

Jiang Xin didn't answer for a long time. After a while, he finally said in a muffled voice, "It's strange. All I did was take a shower."

"What happened while you were showering?"

Water dripped from his hair onto Nizhao's shoulder, cool against her skin. His voice was cool, too.

"While I was washing up, I suddenly started missing you."
