Take Down That Love Rival

The male lead is a world-class detective with sky-high intelligence, movie-star looks, and a goddess-level girlfriend. But there's a whole prairie growing on his head. The female lead (?) spends her days planting grass on him. His rivals in love are one by one either highly intelligent criminals, smiling on the outside but scheming within, or dangerously volatile human firecrackers. So the male lead spends his days wholeheartedly and unwaveringly taking them on. His rivals might all have Stockholm syndrome. They're obsessed with being picked on by him, and each one helplessly falls in love with him, even if he picks them to death. (The male lead stares ahead coldly, with a straight-man expression.) So this is also the daily sparring routine of a bunch of highly intelligent men. The male supporting characters are always trying to become couples in a Boys' Love story, but the male lead is firmly in the romance genre. How are they supposed to fall in love when they're in different categories? Male lead: When you run into a rival in love, there's only one thing to do: fight! *... So is this romance or Boys' Love?
